A new website is on the way!

We are thrilled to announce that a brand new website is being constructed and will soon be launched. We aim to create a more user-friendly online platform that provides easier access to information, resources, and updates about our vibrant community of faith.
As we embark on this journey toward a more accessible and intuitive website, we can’t help but reflect on the rich history and journey that has brought us to this point.
Our story began in 1850 when four believers gathered to lay the foundation for what is now known as The First Baptist Church of Beckley. Led by Rev. Matthew Ellison, our first pastor, the early days were marked by resilience and faith.
Through the decades, our community persevered, and our commitment to serving our congregation and community never wavered. From humble beginnings in a log meetinghouse to the dedication of our present church building in 1930, we have continued to grow and evolve, meeting the needs of our members and embracing opportunities for spiritual growth and outreach.
Today, as we look toward the future, we are excited to embark on this new chapter with the launch of our updated website. Along with providing essential information about our church services, ministries, and events, the new website will feature enhanced accessibility and modern design to ensure that everyone can connect with us easily, whether they are long-time members or first-time visitors.
As believers, we trust in the guidance and provision of our Lord as we move forward into the future. We are excited to see how God will continue to work in and through our community of faith, and we invite you to join us on this journey of growth and transformation.
