Hanging of the Greens – Try Something New

On Sunday, December 4th the choir will start the advent season off with our annual “Hanging of The Greens”.   This has been a long-standing tradition in our church for many, many years and this year we’d like to include the congregation in this event.   If you would like to join us, we will be practicing on Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 in the sanctuary.  It’s a great way to ring in the Christmas season and be part of something that you may have watched for many years along the sidelines.    If you participated last year and for some reason cannot join us this year, please try to find someone to take your place.    If you have any questions, contact Cathy Broughman, our choir director.

Calling all musicians!

Soloists / Duets / Trios / Quartets / Instrumentalist / Just For Fun Wanna Bees

I am preparing for the 1st annual 5th Sunday Music Extravaganza.  It will be held October 30th during the evening service.  This is a great opportunity for all ages and talents to come and share the joy of music that the Lord has given you.  Please send me your name and contact information.

Thanks and God Bless, Cathy Broughman

Fifth Sunday Night

On months where there are five Sunday’s, our evening service will be a chance for you to share your musical talent that God has given you.  So, the first date has been set for July 31st. I know it’s still a few months away but that just gives you more time to pick out just the right piece of music and share it.  So, dust off that old piece of music that you thought you would never use again and get ready to shout praises to the Lord.

Do you have a musical talent to share?

God is leading us to starting a 5th Sunday sing during the evening service.   This is open to anyone who wishes to share the talents or desires to do God’s will.  If you would like to participate, please give your name to Cathy Broughman or Howard Vest.

Music Notes from the Chior

I wish to thank everyone who dedicated themselves to God’s Choir this past year and would like to extend God’s invitation to join his fellow choir members on Sunday evenings at 4:45.  If you need serious stress reduction come and join us and allow the Lord to massage your stress away through the music we sing.
